Additional Tips

Motion sickness can be a concern for some guests, but there’s no need to worry. We have several recommendations to help you manage and minimize discomfort during your sailing experience.
Preventive Measures:
- Seasick Medication: Consider bringing seasick pills, which are widely available at pharmacies such as Guardian or Watsons. Please note that some medications may cause drowsiness.
- Sea Bands: These elastic wristbands use acupressure to alleviate nausea and are a non-invasive option for managing motion sickness.
- Ginger-Based Remedies: Ginger tea, ginger ale, or ginger capsules are natural alternatives that can help soothe nausea.
2. Onboard Support
We do not provide any seasick pills on board, as it’s subject to all guests health conditions.
3. Tips While On Board
To further minimize the risk of motion sickness, we recommend the following:
- Stay on Deck: The fresh air and breeze can significantly help. Avoid spending prolonged periods indoors (in cabins or the saloon).
- Limit Screen Time: Avoid reading or staring at phones, tablets, or other devices for extended periods, as this can exacerbate symptoms.
- Avoid Certain Foods and Drinks: Steer clear of alcohol, heavy meals, and greasy or spicy foods before and during the trip.
- Stay Active: Once the yacht is safely anchored, take a refreshing swim or a walk along the beach. These activities can help alleviate symptoms.
4. If Symptoms Persist
In the unlikely event that you still feel unwell, we recommend the following:
- Use a provided plastic bag if needed, then sip some warm water afterward. This often helps you feel better almost instantly.
